I would like to know how a company would get their first Black Belt Certification by IQF when you need an existing black belt to assess your use of 6-sigma toolset during the practical part of the IQF requirements? (The project manager of the sponsor is able to assess the change agent skills and a team member can assess the results section of the assessment.) Are there black belts in IQF itself that can provide this oversight and guide a company through the practical requirements? If not, can anyone recommend a consultancy to provide this service?
We believe a few individuals at our company would be able to achieve everything else including proficiency in the actual 6-sigma toolset and successful completion of the exam without the need for the training and materials some of the consulting firms may offer.
